Lunch Orders

We have also established a LUNCH DROP OFF TABLE just outside the office. If you are bringing your child’s lunch, kindly place on the table and clearly label your child’s name and class on the outside of the lunch bag. Thank you for your cooperation.

Prior to this school year, we were able to use an online ordering system that was operated by the Dairy Farmers of Canada to allow parents to order their milk. The Dairy Farmers of Canada decided to shut down this online system as there were not enough schools using it.

We are implementing a paper order form similar to the pizza lunch order form. However, there a few differences from the pizza form and from last year.

1) Milk Order Forms will be sent home 3 times per year:

  • FALL ORDER FORM will be for the time period Sept. 26th - Dec. 23rd
  • WINTER ORDER FORM will be for the time period Jan. 9th - March 10th
  • SPRING ORDER FORM will be for the time period March 20th - June June 23rd

2) Deadline Date: Each Milk Order Form will include a final deadline date for that term's order. If you miss the deadline date, you must e-mail to see if we can accommodate adding your child to the milk program that term.

3) Credits: There will be no credits provided if your child is sick or unable to attend school on a day which you have already milk. We will provide credits if you decide to withdraw your child from the milk program altogether or know in advance that your child will be absent for an extended period of more than 5 days.

Once you complete the paper order, please include a cheque payable to St Gregory Catholic School to the school with the amount owing and your child will be provided milk on the days ordered.

The Milk program will continue to deliver milk directly to your child's classroom every day. Every week, the dairy delivers milk to our school which we store in our fridges. At the beginning of each week, we create a milk delivery sheet for each class that is based on the order forms and every day, a group of volunteers put the milk in special “stay cool” bags and distribute the milk to the classrooms.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help with our daily delivery to the classes. We usually have 2 volunteers per day and it takes about 20-30 minutes to deliver the milk starting at 10:45 AM so milk is available for lunch at 11:15. Please contact us by e-mail at

If you have any concerns or questions about the milk program, please contact our program’s cocoordinators, Natasha and Karen via email at

Thank you.
